On 17 February we held our final conferece, a joint event in collaboration with the Rehap project looking at emerging biorefinery technologies and pathways to deployment.
We are happy to announce we will be hosting a final virtual conference on 17 February, celebrating the achievements of the Bio4Products project and discussing plans for the future. The event is free of charge but registration is mandatory via this link. Read on to find out more about the event.

The bioeconomy has great potential to reduce our dependence on non-renewable, unsustainable resources, and help achieve carbon neutrality. In the future more and more everyday products will be made from materials of biological origin.
On 20 February we held our latest webinar, this time on the topic of ‘Bio-based products from fast pyrolysis oil’.
New wood preservatives are in high demand. With creosote-treated wood due to be banned, companies look for sustainable alternatives for the toxic chemical known for its use on wooden railway sleepers, electricity poles and in fencing.
