Bio4Products partners exhibited their bio-based products and technologies at the EU Industry Days high-level conference, the European flagship event on industrial policy, on 5-6 February in Brussels.
Over 500 industry leaders gathered for the event, which featured high-level speeches from European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, as well as a number of Commissioners and Ministers from Member States.
Bio4Products was selected to exhibit at the event, along with 30 other innovative EU funded projects. Partners BTG Biomass Technology Group and Greenovate! Europe oversaw the Bio4Products exhibition stand, explaining to participants the potential of the bio-based products that are being developed in the project. They were able to show samples of products from partners Hexion, TransFurans Chemicals and Foreco.
As well as face-to-face discussions, the project was widely promoted online and on social media during the event, including on Instagram via the European Commission account (200,000 followers).
