The EU Industry Days, organised by the European Commission and key stakeholders, is the flagship EU event on industrial policy. This year it will take place on 5-6 February 2019 at The Egg conference centre in Brussels.

As in previous editions, the EU Industry Days conference will include various sessions organised by different Commission departments and industrial stakeholders.

High profile industry speakers will attend the event with the purpose of influencing and inspiring future industry leaders, and prompting discussion and debate amongst different audience categories.

The thematic areas selected for 2019 are:

• industry and sustainability;
• industry and globalisation;
• innovation and digitalisation.

The third EU Industry Days conference will have a greater focus on societal aspects of industrial policy and will demonstrate how EU policies will positively affect the lives of European citizens.

The event should enable the Commission to monitor new trends and progress in today’s society.
