Bert van de Beld (BTG Biomass Technology Group) gave a presentation on Bio4Products at the 5th Biorizon Annual Event on Bio-aromatics, held in the city of ‘s Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, on 14-15 November.
The focus of the presentation was on the fractionation of pyrolysis oil, and the use of fractions in bio-based products, as is being demonstrated in the Bio4Products project.
Biorizon is a cross-border initiative between TNO, VITO, ECN (part of TNO) and the Green Chemistry Campus and is part of Biobased Delta. Biorizon brings together global leaders in the fields of feedstock, conversion, equipment and end products as participants in the Shared Research Centre, based on the open innovation methodology.
The annual event attracted over 100 participants from large industry players, SMEs and RTOs from all over Europe
